After doing this assignment, I have learned that there are many different ways for taking photos. Each technique makes your photos more elaborate and makes them look a lot more pleasing to look at. You have to take many photos of one thing so you can make sure your getting the very best photo.
Shutter/Aperture Assignment
Shutter Speed:
In my pictures representing shutter speed, I was trying to show the action of my nephew Wyatt riding his scooter. In the first photo, I wanted to have it look like he was going really fast unlike my last one where it captured him in the moment.
Aperture:
In my pictures representing aperture, I was trying to capture the beauty of the flower while also having a good background. I like the last one where I have a aperture of 3.5 because it focused on the flower and blurred the background making the image more intriguing.
What I learned:
What I learned:
- A fast shutter speed freezes the motion in an image and it lets in less light.
- A slow shutter speed blurs the background when theres motion in an image and lets in more light.
- A large aperture makes the image brighter since it lets in more light. It also gives a shorter depth of field.
- A smaller aperture makes the image darker since it lets in less light. It also gives a deeper depth of field.

After:
In this assignment we had to use a photo and edit it in photoshop. We had to copy the image so there were 4 total, one in each corner. We then had to make each photo a different color but it had to be red, green, blue, and yellow.
Photo Assignment 1-Animal
In this assignment, we had to take around 50 photos of our choice of subject. I choose to take pictures of my animals. Then, we had to pick out the best photo we had of them and five others to put on to our blog.
In the picture above:
ISO: 100
Shutter speed: 1/640
Aperture: 3.5
ISO: 100
Shutter speed: 1/640
Aperture: 3.5
After doing this assignment, I've learned that you have to be patient. This especially applies to taking photos of animals because they aren't always going to be good and listen to you. What worked best was having treats to help them behave.

Another example of after:
In this assignment, we had to take a picture of a car and edit it. We then made the background black and touched up the car.
Photo Assignment 2- Nature
In this assignment, we had to take around 50 photos of our choice of subject. I choose to take pictures of nature. Then, we had to pick out the best photo we had of them and five others to put on to our blog.
In the picture above:
ISO: 160
Shutter speed: 1/200
Aperture: 5.0
ISO: 160
Shutter speed: 1/200
Aperture: 5.0
After doing this assignment, I've learned that you can make photos look very different by taking them from different angles. It also really helps to play around with different apertures and shutter speeds because the day I took these pictures, it was dark outside so I had to try to make the pictures brighter.
