Throughout this class, I have grown and learned a lot as a photographer. When I first started taking photos, I would only take one or two photos for each subject instead of taking multiple. I also didn't understand how to use shutter and aperture to create higher quality photos. I didn't know the difference between the two and I didn't know how they were measured. I have become a lot more creative in taking photographs and I have a better understanding on what is considered a high quality picture. In the beginning of the year, I knew absolutely nothing about photoshop. I didn't know what any of the tools did or how to use them. I had to ask my friends for help many times because I didn't know what the directions were saying. I thought I would never understand photoshop but I was wrong. Now, I know what every tool does and how to used them. I can do some assignments without step by step directions. I have learned a lot about photoshop and I hope to keep learning and improving.

In this assignment, we had to take two portrait photos and edit them in photoshop. One of the pictures had to be in the studio and the other one was anywhere in the school with natural light. With the natural light photo, we used a bounce card to reflect light onto the other half of the subjects face. Before: After: After doing this assignment, I have learned that when you take portrait pictures, you should have the subject stand away from the background so it's not as focused. You also need to increase the ISO on the natural light photo to make it brighter since there isn't as mush light as the studio picture.

In this assignment, we had to take of photo with a lot of space where we then had people pose five times. Then, we went into photoshop where we put the different pictures into one photo where it looks like there is multiple people.
